Two solar paths.
One clear comparison.

Choose your system size to compare DCR at ₹70,000/kW and non-DCR at ₹55,000/kW. Residential subsidy is shown only for the eligible DCR route.

What is DCR?

Domestic Content Requirement means the solar modules and cells meet the scheme’s Indian manufacturing condition. Non-DCR modules do not qualify for the PM Surya Ghar central subsidy. Neither choice is a promise about equipment quality or output.

01 / Subsidy route

DCR panels

₹70,000 per kW · potential residential subsidy

₹2,10,000
System price before subsidy
Possible central subsidy₹78,000
Indicative cost after subsidy₹1,32,000
Illustrative financed amount₹1,68,000
Est. monthly EMI before subsidy credit₹3,570
02 / Without subsidy

Non-DCR panels

₹55,000 per kW · no central subsidy

₹1,65,000
System price
Government subsidy₹0
Indicative cost₹1,65,000
Illustrative financed amount₹1,32,000
Est. monthly EMI₹2,805

For eligible residential DCR systems, central subsidy is ₹30,000/kW for the first 2 kW, ₹18,000 for the third kW, and no further subsidy above 3 kW (maximum ₹78,000 in Karnataka). It requires scheme-compliant equipment, a residential connection and verification. It is generally processed after installation and may be credited to a linked loan account. The EMI figures finance the upfront price less your chosen down payment; they do not assume advance subsidy payment. Final scope, taxes, subsidy approval and loan terms require confirmation. STEP 01

Tell us your needs

Share your location, electricity use, and what you want solar to achieve.

STEP 02

Assess the roof

We look at available space, shade, and the right system size.

STEP 03

Review the proposal

Discuss equipment, installation scope, price, and any applicable eligibility.

STEP 04

Switch on

After installation and approvals, start generating electricity from sunlight.

Good questions welcome

A little clarity goes a long way.

The calculator is a starting point. A site assessment gives you a meaningful recommendation.

How much is a 3 kW system?

At our displayed base rate of ₹70,000 per kW, a 3 kW system is ₹2,10,000 before any quote adjustments. We confirm the scope and final price after assessing your site.

How do I choose the right capacity?

It depends on your electricity use, roof space, shade, and goals. We can help size a system after reviewing your bills and site.

Will solar provide power during an outage?

A standard grid-connected solar system generally shuts down during a grid outage. Backup needs suitable hybrid equipment and batteries, which can be discussed separately.

Can I monitor generation on my phone?

With a compatible inverter and monitoring app, you can view generation and system status. Ask us which equipment options support this.
